WHO：6歲柬埔寨女童 死於H5N1禽流感

世界衛生組織(WHO)今天(2日)公布，柬埔寨1名6歲女童因感染禽流感病毒而死亡，使得柬國從年初至今，因感染禽流感而死亡的人數達到9人。

世衛組織與柬埔寨衛生部發布的聯合聲明指出，這名6歲女童住在南部貢不省(Kampot)，6月28日在首都金邊(Phnom Penh)的1間兒童醫院死亡。

這名女童的死亡，代表柬埔寨今年因禽流感死亡的人數，超越2011年的8人死亡紀錄。

世衛指出，根據檢體顯示，這名女童感染的是H5N1致命性禽流感病毒。

世衛與柬國衛生部的聯合聲明指出，這名女童居住的村裡，近來有許多家禽死亡，這名女童可能是因為暴露在生病或因病死亡的家禽，因而染病。

自2003年以來，柬埔寨出現34件人類感染禽流感病毒病例，其中有28人死亡。

另外，根據世衛的統計資料，自2003年全球爆發禽流感疫情以來，全球已有376人因感染禽流感病毒而死亡。
