ROLEX不怕iWatch 「夕陽」腕錶商機無限好

【陳智偉/綜合外電報導】蘋果(Apple)在全球各地註冊iWatch商標,三星電子(SAMSUNG)、SONY(索尼)也強攻智慧手錶,傳統腕錶業卻絲毫不畏高科技競爭,拒絕走入夕陽,在勞力士(ROLEX)等高價精品錶帶動下,美國傳統腕錶市場銷售額近3年仍增加24%,預估2017年前還將成長30%。

據研究機構Euromonitor統計,受金融海嘯影響,美國腕錶市場2008年萎縮4%,2009年再減10%觸底,但2010年來連3年成長,在2012年達到72億美元(2169億元台幣),3年成長幅度達24%,預估2017年前還將再成長30%。

行銷公司MVI總裁查特琳指出,腕錶消費習慣改變,消費者如今求精不求多,常集中預算,購買較高檔的進階產品。零售行情1000美元(3萬元台幣)以上的精品錶,目前平均定價2500美元(7.5萬元台幣),是金融海嘯來新高。
