南韓擴大防空識別區 美支持

（法新社華盛頓8日電） 美國國務院今天說，南韓在擴大防空識別區前，「曾與美國諮商」，美國支持南韓的作法。

南韓在有主權爭議的海域擴大防空識別區，擴大後的防空識別區與中國大陸近來宣布的識別區重疊。

美國國務院發言人莎琪（Jen Psaki）發布公報說，南韓政府「在做出決定前，曾與美國政府諮商」。

莎琪在公報中表示，美國官員「感謝」南韓政府「致力以負責任和深思熟慮的方式採取這項行動，事先諮詢美國以及包括日本和中國在內的鄰國」。

雙方就此議題的討論，包括美國副總統拜登（JoeBiden）12月6日會見南韓總統朴槿惠時，曾討論這個議題。

莎琪說：「我們也感謝（南韓）致力以符合國際慣例，尊重飛越國際空域自由以及其他符合國際法使用國際空域的作法，調整其防空識別區。」

她表示，這種作法「避免對民營航空公司造成混淆或威脅」。

她又說，美國「將與我們的友邦及區域內夥伴維持密切諮商，以確保他們的行動有助於促進更大的穩定、可預測性及符合國際慣例」。
