黃衫易主 Greipel第六站奪冠

Simon Gerrans所保有的黃衫在第六站易主，換到隊友Daryl Impey身上，而單站冠軍則由德國車手Andre Greipel拿下。

「這對南非來說是歷史性的一天！」Impey說：「我感到非常驕傲。」這一站讓他成為首位穿上黃衫的南非選手。

第六站賽段全長176.5公里，從艾克斯‧普羅旺斯出發，目的地蒙比利埃，Greipel以3小時59分02秒成績進站，拿下單站冠軍。

在炙熱的氣溫陪伴下，進入蒙比利埃後，Greipel在右側開始進攻，於隊友的掩護下，在最後500公尺全速衝刺，甩開Peter Sagan與Marcel Kittel糾纏順利衝線。

「這是一個非常緊張的階段。」Greipel賽後表示：「我們知道可以在衝刺分勝負，而且我們已做好準備。」

此站再度發生摔車事件，前一站冠軍Mark Cavendish也受到影響，加上遭到夾擊，以單站第四作收，不過他在綠衫的積分上，縮短了與Sagan的差距。
